What: Behind-the-scenes, sneak peek historical tours on the Centennial Anniversary of the Historic Jayhawk Theatre

Each 60-Minute Centennial Tour Experience Includes:

  • VIP Red Carpet entry into the Historic Jayhawk Walk
  • A curated Behind-the-Scenes tour through new and rarely seen spaces throughout the expanded 42,000-square-foot Jayhawk Theatre Complex, highlighting the Jayhawk's remarkable history, ongoing restoration, and exciting vision for the next century (approximately 45 minutes).
  • Time to explore designated areas at your own pace (approximately 15 minutes)
  • An exclusive Centennial Commemorative Coin

Less than 200 tickets are available for this exclusive Centennial Tour Experience. Thank you for joining us in celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the State Theatre of Kansas and helping launch the Jayhawk Theatre's next century.

Ticket Information:
Due to the limited number of tickets and tour groups available, advance tickets are recommended for this once-in-a-lifetime Centennial experience.

There will be three groups available at each tour time (10:30 AM, 1:00 PM, and 2:30 PM).
These tickets are for the 10:30 AM tour.

Please make sure you select the best tour time for you and friends who want to tour together!
Other tickets are available for 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM tours.

Historic renderings of the Jayhawk Theatre Know Before You Go:
  • Step into the glamour of the 1920s! Vintage-inspired attire is welcomed for those who want to join the fun.
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes, as this is a walking tour through an active restoration site.
  • Until restoration is complete, wheelchair accessibility is limited.
  • Tours begin promptly. Registration and doors open 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.
